A 7 foot #3 rod. The Hollow Trico is a medium fast action rod with a progressive tapering.
This means, that the more you load this rod the deeper it will work. The rod is hollow built, with nickel silver fittings, it weighs in at a mere 80 grams only.
I designed this rod for smaller rivers and creeks where pin pointing is a must, but if you require further reach, the rod will stretch a 12 foot tippet even at 18 yards of line.
I must mention that I landed a 14 inch trout in a fast flowing river with the Hollow Trico with ease.
